Fallout 3 is an open-world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the third major installment in the Fallout series, and was released on November 10, 2008, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is set in the post-apocalyptic world of the Fallout universe, and is the sequel to Fallout 2.
